Privacy Policy

1. Overview

CoTrainer is developed and operated by Blue Edgewater Consulting (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy describes how CoTrainer handles information when you use our mobile application (“the App”) available on Google Play.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. CoTrainer is designed to function primarily on your device with minimal data collection. We do not sell your data, display advertisements, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide: CoTrainer processes the text you enter into the App — including performance situation descriptions, diagnostic answers, and training content — to generate AI-powered outputs. This content is sent to the Anthropic API for processing via our Cloudflare Worker proxy and is not stored by us on any server.

Branding information: Your organization name, your name or role, and your chosen accent color are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This information never leaves your device.

Saved work: Training assets, diagnoses, BEM intervention plans, leadership briefs, and project data you save are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this data.

Purchase information: If you subscribe to CoTrainer Pro, purchases are processed by Google Play. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat may collect device identifiers and purchase history to verify your subscription. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Usage data: We do not collect analytics, crash reports, or usage statistics from the App. We do not use tracking SDKs.

3. How We Use Your Information

The text you enter into CoTrainer is sent to the Anthropic Claude API via our Cloudflare Worker proxy solely to generate the AI-powered outputs you request. Specifically:

• Diagnostic answers are sent to generate diagnosis results and leadership briefs
• Training situation descriptions are sent to generate voice advisor drafts
• BEM flow answers are sent to generate environmental intervention plans

We do not use your content to train AI models. We do not retain your content after it has been processed. Your inputs are transmitted to Anthropic subject to Anthropic’s privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy.

4. Data Storage and Security

All project data, saved assets, notes, and settings are stored locally on your device using React Native AsyncStorage. This data is not synchronized to any cloud service and is not accessible to us.

API calls are routed through our Cloudflare Worker proxy at cofun-proxy.jboursier.workers.dev. This proxy authenticates requests using a secret header and forwards them to the Anthropic API. The proxy does not log request content.

We use industry-standard security practices, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We encourage you to protect your device with a passcode or biometric authentication.

5. Push Notifications

CoTrainer may request permission to send local push notifications when you save a Training Calendar asset. These notifications are scheduled locally on your device using expo-notifications. We do not use push notification services that transmit your data to remote servers for notification delivery. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

6. Children’s Privacy

CoTrainer is designed for professional use by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, please contact us at jason@blueedgewater.com and we will take appropriate action.

7. Third-Party Services

CoTrainer uses the following third-party services:

• Anthropic Claude API — AI text generation. Privacy policy: anthropic.com/privacy

• RevenueCat — Subscription management. Privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy

8. Your Rights

Since your data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it. You can delete all locally stored data by uninstalling the App. If you have questions about data processed through the Anthropic API, please refer to Anthropic’s privacy policy.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or California, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information. Please contact us at jason@blueedgewater.com to exercise any applicable rights.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitute your acceptance of the updated policy.
