1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using any application in the CoFamily suite — including CoFun, CoWiz, CoVerse, CoSong, CoReason, CoLeader, and any future apps released under the Blue Edgewater brand — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our apps.

These terms apply to all versions of the apps, including free and paid tiers, across all platforms on which they are available.

2. Description of Service

The CoFamily apps are AI-powered creative and reflective tools built on large language model technology. Each app provides a distinct experience:

CoFun — AI-powered comedy and roast generator with distinct comedian-inspired voices
CoWiz — AI wisdom and perspective app drawing from philosophical and contemplative traditions
CoVerse — AI poetry and spoken word generator with tradition-inspired voice archetypes
CoSong — AI lyric writing and songwriting companion
CoReason — AI debate and reflection tool exploring systemic questions through global wisdom traditions
CoLeader — AI personal development and leadership coaching app

All apps are for entertainment, creative, and reflective purposes only. They do not constitute professional advice of any kind.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the CoFamily apps. Some content within specific apps may be intended for users 17 and older, as indicated in the applicable app store listing. By using these apps, you confirm that you meet the age requirements applicable to the specific app you are using.

4. Freemium Model and Subscriptions

4.1 Free Tier

All CoFamily apps offer a free tier with limited daily usage measured in Sparks — our usage credit unit. Free tier limits are subject to change. On your first day using any app, you receive an enhanced Spark allowance to experience the full product. Subsequent days operate under the standard free daily Spark limit.

4.2 Pro Subscriptions

Pro subscriptions are available on a monthly basis at $4.99 per month per app. Pro subscribers receive an expanded monthly Spark allowance, access to all voices and features, and the ability to save and organize their generated content. Subscriptions are managed through the Google Play Store and are subject to Google Play’s billing terms.

4.3 Spark Allowances

Spark allowances — both free and Pro — may be adjusted from time to time to maintain service quality and manage operational costs. We will communicate significant changes to Spark allowances through in-app notifications or updates to these Terms. Continued use of the app after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new allowance terms.

5. AI-Generated Content

5.1 Nature of Outputs

All content generated by the CoFamily apps is produced by artificial intelligence and is provided for entertainment, creative, and reflective purposes only. AI-generated content may be:

Inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading
Inconsistent across sessions
Unsuitable for professional, medical, legal, or financial decision-making
Reflective of patterns in training data that may include biases

5.2 Not Professional Advice

The CoFamily apps are not a substitute for professional advice. No content generated by any CoFamily app constitutes medical, psychological, legal, financial, or any other form of professional advice. Do not make important life decisions based solely on AI-generated content from our apps.

5.3 Ownership of Outputs

You retain ownership of the prompts and inputs you provide to the apps. AI-generated outputs are provided to you for your personal use. Blue Edgewater does not claim ownership over content you generate using the apps. You are responsible for how you use, share, or publish any AI-generated content.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the CoFamily apps to:

Generate content that is hateful, discriminatory, or incites violence against any person or group
Harass, threaten, or harm any individual
Generate content that sexualizes minors in any way
Attempt to circumvent usage limits, billing systems, or access controls
Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models or application code
Use the apps for commercial resale or redistribution without written permission
Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation

7. Privacy

Your use of the CoFamily apps is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at blueedgewater.com/cofamilyprivacy. By using the apps, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

The CoFamily apps process your prompts and inputs through third-party AI providers. Please do not share sensitive personal information — including financial details, passwords, or personally identifying information about others — within app prompts.

8. Intellectual Property

The CoFamily apps, including all design, code, voice archetypes, branding, and user interface elements, are the intellectual property of Blue Edgewater. All voice and persona references use archetype names and tradition-inspired descriptors and are not intended to impersonate or claim association with any real individual.

The Blue Edgewater name, CoFamily brand, and all individual app names — CoFun, CoWiz, CoVerse, CoSong, CoReason, CoLeader, and others — are trademarks of Blue Edgewater. You may not use these marks without prior written permission.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE COFAMILY APPS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. BLUE EDGEWATER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APPS WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BLUE EDGEWATER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE COFAMILY APPS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

10. Changes to Service and Terms

Blue Edgewater reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any CoFamily app or feature at any time. We may update these Terms of Service periodically. We will notify you of material changes through in-app notifications or by updating the effective date at the top of this document. Your continued use of any CoFamily app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Termination

Blue Edgewater reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to any or all CoFamily apps at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, Blue Edgewater, or third parties. You may stop using the apps at any time. Subscription cancellations are managed through the Google Play Store.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the CoFamily apps shall be resolved in the courts of Oregon.
