1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using CoLeader (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Blue Edgewater LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

2. Description of Service

CoLeader is a personal development and leadership app that provides AI-generated guidance through a set of leadership archetypes. The App is intended for entertainment, personal reflection, and self-improvement purposes only. CoLeader is not a substitute for professional coaching, therapy, legal advice, financial advice, or medical treatment.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App
  • You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
  • You may not use the App if you have been previously banned or restricted by Blue Edgewater LLC

4. Free and Pro Tiers

CoLeader offers a free tier with limited daily usage and a Pro subscription tier with expanded features. Free tier limits are subject to change with reasonable notice. Pro subscriptions are billed through Google Play at the rates displayed at the time of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

Refund requests are handled through Google Play’s standard refund policy. Blue Edgewater LLC does not issue direct refunds for subscription charges.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the App’s source code
  • Use automated tools or scripts to access the App
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or freemium restrictions
  • Submit content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
  • Use the App to generate content intended to harass, harm, or deceive others

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

CoLeader uses artificial intelligence to generate leadership guidance and responses. This content is generated algorithmically and:

  • Is provided for entertainment and personal reflection purposes only
  • Does not constitute professional advice of any kind
  • May not be accurate, complete, or applicable to your specific situation
  • Should not be relied upon as a substitute for qualified professional guidance

Always consult a qualified professional for important life, career, legal, or financial decisions.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, archetypes, content architecture, and underlying code, is the property of Blue Edgewater LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

User-generated content (your journal entries, saved responses, and personal notes) remains your property. You grant Blue Edgewater LLC a limited license to process this content solely for the purpose of delivering the App’s services.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Blue Edgewater LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may stop using the App at any time. Upon termination, all licenses granted to you will immediately cease.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Oregon.
