CoVerse Terms of Service

CoPoet is the in-app name for the app published on Google Play under the listing name CoVerse (package: com.coverse.app). These terms apply to both names and to all versions of the app.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using CoPoet (published as CoVerse on Google Play), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms are between you and Blue Edgewater, the developer of CoPoet.

2. What CoPoet Is

CoPoet is an AI-powered creative expression app that uses the Anthropic Claude API to help users generate poetry, spoken word, and lyrical content. All outputs are AI-generated and intended for personal creative and entertainment use. CoPoet is not a therapeutic tool, a mental health service, or a substitute for professional support of any kind.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use CoPoet. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18 you should have parental or guardian permission to use the app.

4. Free Tier and Pro Subscription

CoPoet offers a free tier with daily generation limits and a Pro subscription that unlocks unlimited generations and additional output types. Free tier limits are subject to change and are communicated clearly within the app.

CoPoet Pro is a recurring subscription billed through Google Play at $4.99 per month or $39.99 per year. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings. Blue Edgewater does not process payments directly and does not have access to your payment information.

5. AI-Generated Content

All poetry, verses, and written outputs produced by CoPoet are generated by artificial intelligence. By using CoPoet you acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content may be unexpected, imperfect, or not suited to your intended use
  • You are responsible for how you use, share, or publish any content generated by the app
  • Blue Edgewater does not guarantee the accuracy, originality, or fitness for purpose of any generated output
  • Content that appears to reference real people, events, or works is coincidental and not intended as fact

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use CoPoet to:

  • Generate content that is illegal, threatening, harassing, or designed to harm others
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits, billing, or access controls
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or replicate the app or its underlying systems
  • Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Input personal information about third parties without their consent

7. Intellectual Property

The CoPoet app, its design, name, voice archetypes, and underlying code are owned by Blue Edgewater. You retain ownership of any original text you input into the app. AI-generated outputs are provided for your personal creative use. Blue Edgewater makes no ownership claims over content you generate using the app.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of CoPoet is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at blueedgewater.com/coverse-app-privacy-policy/. By using the app you agree to the data practices described there.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

CoPoet is provided as-is without warranties of any kind. Blue Edgewater does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the app or its AI generation features. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blue Edgewater is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

CoPoet is not a crisis service. If you are in mental health distress please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services. In the US you can contact the Crisis Text Line by texting HOME to 741741.

10. Changes to the App and These Terms

Blue Edgewater may update CoPoet, its features, pricing, or these Terms of Service at any time. We will update the date at the top of this page when terms change. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using CoPoet at any time by uninstalling the app. Blue Edgewater reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the app for violations of these terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state of Oregon, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
