How Blue Edgewater LLC collects, uses, and protects your information when you use CoLeader.
Overview
CoLeader (“the App”) is a personal development and leadership app operated by Blue Edgewater LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
By using CoLeader, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.
CoLeader is built with privacy in mind. All personal content — your journal entries, saved responses, preferences, and notes — is stored locally on your device only. We do not maintain a cloud database of your personal content.
Information We Collect

c) Information We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect your name, email address, or account credentials unless you voluntarily provide them. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not collect precise location data.
How We Use Your Information

- Maintain app functionalityTo track daily session limits, manage free and Pro tier entitlements, and reset usage counts at midnight
- Improve the productTo diagnose technical issues, fix crashes, and improve app performance
- Send notificationsTo deliver optional push notifications if you have opted in — you can disable these at any time
AI-Generated Content
CoLeader uses the Anthropic Claude API to generate leadership responses. When you submit a situation, your text is transmitted to Anthropic’s servers to generate a response. Anthropic’s privacy policy governs how they handle this data.
We do not store your conversation history on our servers. All session data is stored locally on your device only.
Your inputs are used solely to generate responses within the App. We do not use your inputs to train AI models.
Data Storage
All personal data — including your Leadership Journal entries, saved responses, bookmarked bits, favourite quotes, named sessions, personal notes, and preferences — is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage.
We do not maintain a cloud database of your personal content. Deleting the App or using the Delete My Data option in the Profile screen will permanently remove all locally stored data.

Children’s Privacy
CoLeader is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the App, please contact us at privacy@blueedgewater.com and we will take appropriate action.

Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. API calls are routed through a secured Cloudflare Worker proxy with secret key authentication. No plain-text credentials are stored in the App.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the effective date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
